Larry Trott-Bass Guitar

Larry Trott was born in Pembroke, Bermuda.  He started playing professional drums in Bermuda clubs at the tender age of 10.  He left Bermuda at 18 to explore music with a rock band in Trinidad (again, playing drums).

He moved to the U.S. in 1971 which led to meeting Bill Doggett (Honky Tonk), and faking he knew bass....He learned by ear very quickly as Bill hired him to tour Europe and later to record with Lionel Hampton.  They also backed Ella Fitzgerald in The Hague, Holland.

In the 80's and 90's Larry lived in Oneonta, NY playing drums or bass with several groups, one of which was the "Great Jazz Legend" Al Gallodoro.

Now settled in Sarasota, Florida Larry still plays drums, electric or upright bass.
